What stays the same
Four colours, a loop, a home column, captures, the need for a 6 to enter (unless you change it). If you can play on a tin box, you can play here after one Computer match.
What changes
- The dice. A person cannot nudge the cube. A computer can be weighted. We publish the defaults on Fair play.
- Waiting. You do not watch someone look for a token under the sofa. You do wait for a network. Empty seats can become computers.
- House rules. On a table, the loudest cousin wins the argument. Here the host’s preset wins, so say it before you share the code.
- Who you play. Traditional Ludo is the people in the room. Online Ludo can be a stranger, a friend in another city, or a computer.
If you miss the tin box, use pass-and-play on one phone — offline Ludo.
