Ten games will teach more than a list. These five mistakes show up in the first ten. Longer version: Ludo tips and strategy.
- Leaving only one token out. A single piece is a hostage. Spend a 6 on a second token.
- Capturing every time you can. Some captures put you on a square their next token enters. Count the walk they lose against the walk you risk.
- Stacking for no reason. Two on one square can blockade (if that rule is on) but also waste two tokens on one job.
- Sitting one pip from home. Finish. A token that close still blocks your other pieces from using that roll.
- Ignoring the computer in a filled seat. In quick play a computer still captures. Play it like a person who never tilts.
Then play a Computer game on purpose and try each idea once.
